La Llorona is a myth about a characterized spirit of a woman who lost her children during their infancy years, so in return in avengement when young children play by a river or flowing stream La Llorona would come out and make weeping noises.
So in Chapter 5 , stories can pretty much be told in any medium with the same plot but can be arranged or rearranged in different ways which give a moral, religious ritual, or incantation
Same topic variants are a variety of stories told in different ways but using the same topic.
Same character stories are using the same characters in a story but changing up the character.
Same structure stories are different themes and topics but are the same structure.
In conclusion my understanding of story resources is a story that can be told in various different ways. Characters can be arranged and changed around to make the audience you are focusing on more interested in a story but using the same topic and structure or theme.
